  New School Leaders Named for 2011-2012  
 

Jeffrey Brusso Appointed Principal at Frost Elementary School
Prior to moving in to an administrative role, Jeffrey Brusso has served as an elementary school Spanish Bilingual teacher in Cicero as well as a middle school Spanish Bilingual teacher at London Middle School in District 21. Over the past few years, Jeffrey has served as the Assistant Principal at Holmes Middle School. As a teacher and administrator, Jeffrey is passionate about helping students and is committed to providing the emotional and academic support that students need to learn and grow. In addition to being student-centered, he is a good listener, committed to life-long learning, and enjoys a good sense of humor. Jeffrey’s organizational and communication skills will serve him well in his new role. He is collaborative and values working collectively for the benefit of students.

 

Teresa Daleske Appointed Dean of Students at London Middle School
Teresa Daleske has taught Special Education in the district for over fifteen years serving at both Cooper and London Middle Schools.  Throughout her teaching career, Teresa has been a leader among her peers and has consistently been sought out for her expertise in teaching and behavioral management strategies.   Teresa’s calm demeanor, knowledge of best practices, experience with at-risk students, collaboration and organizational skills, commitment to District 21 and love of children make her an excellent choice for this position.  She relates well with her students, parents and colleagues and will be able to apply her leadership skills to this new role.  Teresa is currently enrolled in a Master’s program for her Type 75 Administrative degree and will continue with her commitment to life-long learning in this new role.
