At the Board of Education meeting held on January 19, 2012, the Board accepted the resignation of School Board member Elva Arreola. Mrs. Arreola has been a member of the Board since 2009. In her letter of resignation, Mrs. Arreola thanked the Board for the opportunity to serve the community and wished the Board of Education continued success.

With this resignation, a vacancy now exists on the Board of Education of School District 21.
